This is a multimedia piece. I love Monarch butterflies.This was a fun piece to do. I used a lot of leftover pieces of art I had created, added paper and collaged on old cards and textured items. This is a multimedia piece using found objects, small paintings & acrylic paint I built into a collage. On the left side of the painting I took my sock design of Monarch butterflies from caterpillar, chrysalis to winged flight and incorporated it in the artwork. There is an old Thank you card I had received from an art patron. A piece of old plastic flower, a piece of square bamboo placemat with a monarch butterfly on it.
