Description
Maj. Leonard 'Kit' Carson was the leading ace of the 357th Fighter Group. Kit became famous for becoming an 'ace in a day' when he destroyed five FW-190s on his 38th mission. He would go on to score a total of 18 air-to-air kills, and 3 strafing kills. All of his aircraft were named Nooky Booky. Kit scored most of his kills flying Nooky Booky IV.
